EPISODE 30: Alma is a first generation American finding her own way, following her instincts and pursuing a career in fashion, moving from fashion designer to in-house stylist, to being her own boss with her personal styling business, @almasaurus_styles . In the very same brain, however, there is a fighter. Literally. Alma Vicencio is a decorated Muay Thai fighter and coach. She found the sport later in life and fell in love with the community and discipline it gave her. Where some might see brutality she saw beauty and elegance. Now she’s a mom and while her competition days are behind her, the sport continues to fuel her passion, all while her daughter watches on at the gym, learning what it really means to dust yourself off and get back up.
